Why Standard Hard Clippers Sound Bad
Standard hard clipper VST plugins have a fixed digital ceiling.
This has two fatal flaws:
* It collapses your transients to mono during clipping events.
* It adds sustained musically orphaned harmonics – digital foldback aliasing.
